LONG-TENURE FRANCHISEE RECOGNITION

One of the highlights of the 30^th Westpac New Zealand Franchise Awards held in November 2025 was a celebration of franchisees who have owned their businesses for over 15 years. A selection of almost 70 franchisees took to the stage – and some of them had been in business even before the Awards started in 1995.

They came from all sorts of different industries, too, from window maintenance to cleaning and lawnmowing, and from carpets and flooring to hair salons. Adele Flett holds the record for Rodney Wayne with an incredible 35 years, making her possibly the country’s longest-serving franchisee (see our article on what makes a franchise such a good choice as a long-term investment).
