Franchise New Zealand On Line is the home of New Zealand franchising on the web. It is THE hub site for anyone looking for information on franchising in this country.
To link your site to ours so that your own visitors can easily access the information and advice which we provide, all you have to do is place the Franchise New Zealand On Line logo button on your site (as at right) with a link to franchise.co.nz
As soon as you have done this, please email us and tell us the address where the logo appears. We will then check that the link is operating properly. It's as easy as that.

Simon has over 35 years' experience in franchising both in New Zealand and the UK, working for franchisors large and small, new and established. His roles have included marketing manager for a multi-national fast-food franchise and franchise manager for a new start-up operation. He founded Franchise New Zealand magazine in 1992 and created NZ's first franchising website in 1997. Simon was chairman of the Franchise Association of New Zealand from 2003-2005 and served on the Association's board from its foundation in 1996 until 2007. He was made a Life Member of the Association in 2014.
Something you didn't know about Simon:
Simon has a masters degree in History of Art but these days he's more into the history of motor racing. He even travelled to the UK in 2010 for the famous Goodwood Revival meeting - a chance to dress up in period gear and drool over some famous and fabulous cars.

Lorraine has been in franchising even longer than husband Simon and also has a post-graduate diploma in management studies. Her background includes franchisee field support and business coaching roles, as well as the position of national training manager for an award-winning UK franchise. She has written franchise operations manuals and worked on recruitment strategies and processes in both the UK and New Zealand. Lorraine has also 'walked the talk' by running a franchised printing outlet in London.
Something you didn't know about Lorraine:
Lorraine loves to travel - before arriving in New Zealand in 1991 she and Simon backpacked around Asia and Australia for a year - and she enjoys collecting beautiful objects from all parts of the world. As a child, she lived in France, Singapore and Germany and she speaks French and German.

Zara is our newest member of the team. As Client & Publication Co-Ordinator, she supports our clients and helps them make the most of their advertising. Zara’s background is in travel, including sole-charge flight attending along with both retail & corporate travel consulting. When Covid-19 turned that industry upside down, Zara found an exciting new role here at Franchise New Zealand and she’s loving it. Zara prides herself on her organisational skills, high attention to detail and relationship building. She genuinely enjoys working with people and can’t wait to work with our clients, exceed expectations and deliver results with a smile.

Outside of the office, Zara is an active person who enjoys hiking, skiing, and exploring all the beautiful corners of New Zealand.

Sally first joined Franchise New Zealand in 1997 and has played a massive part in the development of our magazine, website and social media services ever since. She has a Bachelor of Business Studies degree and is one of the few people in New Zealand to hold a formal qualification in franchising - a Certificate of Franchising from Unitec. She has worked with many franchisors at various stages of maturity over the years, and is always quick to assist people to find the help they need. Sally went to work in Europe in 2014 and, after returning to New Zealand and gaining new insights working with another publisher, joined us again in 2016 with a particular focus on social media and business development.
Something you didn't know about Sally:
Sally has been heavily involved in amateur dramatics for many years as actor, director and on the committees of different clubs. She also plays the cello and recorder.
