Franchise marketing software company re-brands

13 February 2023 – Brand Machine, the well-known marketing software provider to the franchise industry, has re-branded to Storyteq

The name change follows the acquisition of Brand Machine by UK-based communications group Team ITG last June. Storyteq is ITG’s technology arm that supplies software to well-known international franchise brands such as KFC, Costa Coffee, Pizza Hut, Pret A Manger and many more.

Brand Machine founder and now Storyteq APAC CEO Andrew Mitchell says the acquisition and rebrand has led to an expansion of the solutions it can offer New Zealand franchise brands. 'Our franchisee local marketing portals and social media automation solutions remain core to our business but we’re delighted to now add other solutions such as creative automation to our technology suite.'

Creative automation allows marketing teams to version digital assets such as static tiles, HTML banners and videos without the need of specialist studio resources. Master templates can be connected to a data source to create localised media in batches. 'We can create a localised video for a hundred franchisees at the push of a button,' explains Mitchell.
