Seminar with author of ‘My Dear Franchisees’

last updated 28/01/2020

January 2020 – A half-day seminar next month is aimed at helping franchisors resolve relationship issues

Ann Andrews Book

Ann Andrews is a former franchisor and author of My Dear Franchisees, a guide that helps new franchisees understand what – and what not – to expect from their franchisor. ‘I recently updated and re-launched the book,’ says Ann. ‘After an extract appeared in Franchise New Zealand magazine, the phone went crazy with cries of:

“Help, my franchisees are driving me mad”; or

“Help, my franchisees are great all except one – and he/she is doing my head in”; or

“I have only recently franchised my business and want to make sure I recruit great franchisees from the get-go.”

‘And so I’m joining forces with Chris Baker of PeopleMaps to run a half-day workshop for franchisors, where we will cover:

  • What makes a great franchisee
  • The 6 stages every franchisee goes through until they ‘get’ what franchising actually is
  • How to create the very best recruitment and induction processes, so you don’t get to a stage where one of your franchisees is ‘doing your head in’.”

Where:           The Quality Inn, (Old Barrycourt), 10-20 Gladstone Rise, Parnell, Auckland

When:            25th February, 8.30 – 12 noon

Investment:   $199.00 + gst

Participants will receive a free copy of the book My Dear Franchisee (value $25) plus a free PeopleMaps profile (value $87.00).
