Genghis The Accountant

In our latest magazine, there’s an article on Small Business Accounting (SBA) which features Vas Khrapov, the franchise’s 2017 Rookie of the Year. When we were preparing the story, we asked Craig Gardiner, SBA’s general manager, for a photo of Vas receiving his award.

‘We’re not having the presentation until our conference next week, but I’ll take one then,’ Craig promised. Time passed… no photo arrived. We sent Craig a gentle reminder about providing a photo of his highly-professional, highly-successful new franchisee. ‘Ah yes, about that,’ he said. ‘I forgot the conference evening was fancy dress. Vas got his award all right – but he was dressed as Genghis Khan!’
