'Simply not fair' - Franchise sector renews calls for action on rents

The Franchise Association has renewed calls for action to force landlords to negotiate on rents, saying that some very successful long-term businesses are facing bankruptcy owing to the actions of a few landlords who are not prepared to make allowances for cashflow damage caused by lockdown.  If well-supported franchisees are having such issues, how much harder must it be for independent business owners?
