Stewart Germann Law Office has achieved international recognition in the Best Franchise Law Firm category of the 2025 Global Franchise Awards.

Specialist franchise law firm Stewart Germann Law is celebrating after being recognised at the International Franchise Association Annual Convention in Las Vegas.

Winners in the prestigious international 2025 Global Franchise Awards, honouring excellence in franchising, were named at the 10-13 February event, with New Zealand's Stewart Germann, Khusbu Sundarji and the team at Stewart Germann Law Office achieving a Highly Commended award.

The international accolades are awarded to legal teams providing consistently excellent service to the franchise industry, and who consistently promote the cause of franchising through media involvement. Awards are given to those whose names have become synonymous with franchising. Recipients have to demonstrate an open and transparent working relationship with clients, offering consistently high quality, relevant legal advice, and promoting franchise best practice.

Stewart Germann Law Office was up against four much larger US law firms in the Best Franchise Law Firm of the Year Awards.

"I am thrilled to announce that we came second and were Highly Commended," said Stewart, on his return from Las Vegas. "We were honoured to receive the award."

Amongst the judges of the eighth Global Franchise Awards were Cristina Matos, CEO, Portuguese Franchise Association, Pip Wilkins, CEO, British Franchise Association, and Sherry McNeil, President & CEO, Canadian Franchise Association.
