Hair franchisees ready to reopen

23 November 2021 - Just Cuts franchisees are prepared for re-opening thanks to proven app from the franchisor

With Jacinda Ardern announcing that, from Thursday, Auckland hairdressers can welcome vaccinated customers as part of the vaccination passport trial, all 12 Just Cuts Auckland salons are ready to reopen with appointments available through the Just Cuts smartphone app from 9am on 25 November.

Although the franchise is traditionally a no-appointment, walk-in business, it invested in the booking app before Covid and says it has been a huge help for franchisees during re-opening surges. It will also help the salons comply with mandatory vaccination requirements, which have been generally welcomed by franchisors

Clients can download the free Just Cuts app from the Apple and Google Play stores for contactless check-in and book at their closest salon from up to 15 kilometres away after 9am on Thursday. Clients will receive a reminder text shortly before their appointment and can simply head to the salon.

Clients must bring their vaccine pass to enter a Just Cuts Auckland salon and all Just Cuts stylists will need a vaccine pass before returning to the salon in line with health regulations. This appointment process will apply for one week until the traffic light system commences on Friday 3 December.
