16 March 2015 - Franchise New Zealand has joined forces with the Franchise Association to promote franchising to more people than ever

Franchise New Zealand is delighted to announce that we’ve formed a new arrangement with the Franchise Association of New Zealand. From 1st April, we’ll be providing the Association’s Directory of Members from our website at www.franchise.co.nz

Members will benefit from promotion on the country’s most popular franchise website (which is now averaging over 500 visits per day) as well as in Franchise New Zealand’s print and digital magazine. There will also be greater promotion of upcoming FANZ events such as regional meetings and the annual Conference and greater collaboration between FANZ and Franchise New Zealand on other activities, including cross-linking between the Association’s own website, its Online Franchise Education website and franchise.co.nz.

FANZ Chairman Brad Jacobs has welcomed the new relationship, saying:

‘The Franchise Association is the peak body representing the franchise sector in New Zealand, and it’s important to us to get our message out to as many people as possible – both franchise buyers and franchisors. Franchise New Zealand has a superb track record of informing and educating people about franchising in this country, and a long history of supporting the Association. We believe that this relationship will provide major benefits to our existing members and help attract new members throughout the country.’

Franchise New Zealand publisher Simon Lord says:

‘We’ve been proud to contribute to the growth of New Zealand’s strong and healthy franchise sector for 25 years now. Ours is a small country but there’s always been a strong tradition of collaboration between the major players and that’s been a key factor in making New Zealand the most franchise-friendly country in the world. We believe all our readers and all our clients, FANZ members and non-members alike, will benefit from this new relationship. We look forward to working with the team at FANZ to ensure that franchising goes on growing.’

The new arrangement will start to roll out from 1st April 2016.
