October 2012 - The Franchise Council of Australia has named the winners of the 2012 NAB FCA Excellence in Franchising Awards.

The winners of the 2012 NAB FCA Excellence in Franchising Awards were announced on Tuesday 9th October, with a win for New Zealand’s own Fastway Couriers. Fastway won the Excellence in Marketing Award for its recent corporate rebranding exercise.

While some of the other winning brands are familiar names in New Zealand, many are not. It’s also worth noting how some Australian systems noted for their excellence at home have tried and failed to establish themselves in New Zealand – an important lesson for others planning to cross the Tasman in either direction.
