Government changes date eligibility criteria for new support

25 February 2021 - It quickly became apparent after the announcement of the government’s Covid Support Payment that the date comparator period would mean that many operators would be ineligible to access the support. Following lobbying by the Restaurant Association of New Zealand, the criteria have now been changed to allow comparison with either early 2022 or the same period last year.
