Franchise Awards move online

The 2021 Westpac New Zealand Franchise Awards were postponed from last November in the hope of holding a physical event post-Covid. Sadly, with the recent move to Red status, events with more than 100 people are now unable to proceed. Accordingly, the Franchise Association, which organises the Awards, has decided to host the event as an Online Celebration on 6 March.

Thanks to the generous support of Principal Sponsor Westpac and other Awards sponsors, the Online Celebration will be free of charge to FANZ members. Those who have already bought tickets will be refunded in full.

‘Online or in person, the Awards carry the same merit and we’re working hard to deliver a superlative experience,’ says Susan Mott, Operations Manager of FANZ. ‘Our team are in the process of creating a fantastic Online Celebration with all the fanfare deserving of our wonderful finalists. Our sponsors and team will be there on the night in all their finery, coming to you live via Zoom.

‘We hope that our members will join in the fun with their own black tie gatherings (under Red criteria, of course) as we find out who are the winning franchisors, franchisees and service providers.’
