25 July 2013 - To celebrate 20 years of serving Kiwis breakfast, McDonald’s NZ is giving away up to 130,000 free breakfasts this coming Monday morning.

One hundred and thirty of McDonald’s NZ’s restaurants nationwide are each giving out 1,000 free Bacon & Egg McMuffins to locals from 7–10am on Monday 29 July.

McDonald’s New Zealand managing director Patrick Wilson says he is looking forward to making Monday morning easy for locals. The Bacon and Egg McMuffin - 130,00 of these will be given away free on Monday 29 July

'We all know that Monday mornings can be tough so we wanted to offer Kiwis breakfast on the house to celebrate our birthday. We’re expecting the free Bacon and Egg McMuffins to go down a treat, so we’re encouraging everyone to get in quick – the early bird will get the bacon,” says Mr Wilson. 'To put the number of Bacon and Egg McMuffins we are giving away into perspective, it is enough to make early easy for two thirds of the entire North Shore City Population.'

McDonald’s offer of free Bacon & Egg McMuffins will be followed up over the next month with four other free breakfast offers.
