When you join The Coffee Guy team, we’ll be there to guide you through each step from opening supplier accounts to securing loyal customers, to looking at ways to grow.

Dedicated Business Development Manager & On-Going Support

You will be assigned a Business Development Manager who will not only be there for you at the begin of your journey but will continue to provide ongoing support and guidance throughout your duration of your time with The Coffee Guy. This includes regular phone and email-based support, field visits and franchisee functions.

A Territory or Location

Once you join our franchise, we'll support you in selecting the perfect location for your business, whether it's a mobile coffee van or a fixed-site store. While the final decision on your territory is yours, you will work closely with your dedicated Business Development Manager who will provide expert guidance on the characteristics of each area to help you make the best choice.

Training & Set-up

Our franchise system is built for people with little to no business or hospitality experience. That’s why we provide a robust, hands-on training and setup program to get you ready for success.

• Barista Training:  Never made coffee? No problem! Our comprehensive barista training program takes place in our dedicated facility in Auckland.
• Master the Essentials: We'll walk you through all the necessary business administration, keeping it simple and efficient so you can focus on your customers.
•  Launch with Confidence: Over a one to two-week period, we'll be right there with you to get your business up and running. We'll assist with everything from site setup and fit-out to developing a local marketing plan that drives business from day one.

If you're launching a Mobile Coffee Van, we'll spend this time helping you secure new customers for your corporate run, manage event requests, and create an efficient schedule that maximizes your coffee-making time and minimises driving.

Customised Fit-out

Your mobile espresso van is custom fitted with the highest quality Italian espresso hardware and finished with a stainless stell interior. Our vans are extremely economical to run with our New Battery System, user friendly and have ample space for supplied and accessories.

Event support

For the Mobile Coffee Van business, the events side of the business can be lucrative. The number of events you attend is completely up to you.

Some of our franchisees choose to attend an event every weekend, whereas others are happy just delivering their corporate run. As well as your initial events training, we’ll continue to support you in procuring event leads and bookings in your area.
