Portermark is Australia's gold standard professional beer line cleaning company and is now seeking master licensees in New Zealand.
You must possess demonstrated business development and people management skills. A proven track record of success in hospitality or similar industry is a must. You will be required to meet a franchise development schedule and possess the capital to finance the acquisition of the master rights, along with back-up working capital to develop and expand the territory.
In an often misinformed and neglected field within the hospitality industry, Portermark has set a new standard of industry best practice with the recent granting of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification for its process.
Portermark is Australia’s premier beer line cleaning company and has a high return franchise model that offers significant income potential. With solid expansion in progress we are now offering master licence rights for New Zealand. Two master licence territories are available comprising the North and the South Islands. Each master licensee will be responsible for the development and expansion of the Portermark brand throughout the territory. You will oversee the growth and development of the region in line with development targets. You will recruit and develop franchisees and provide ongoing support to assist in the success of their business goals, whilst at the same time ensuring yours. The business model works on 1 venue clean per business day for 5 days on a 3 weekly cycle. The model represents a highly flexible business opportunity for the franchisee with low hours and a high nett return. The benefits to the venues are numerous.
- Increase yields – generates additional revenues by enabling the venues to sell the beer traditionally disposed of during the weekly cleaning process.
- Enhance beer quality – superior cleaning systems enhance the taste, colour and aroma.
- Cleaning frequency - the clean is now on a 3 weekly cycle rather than every week.
- Increased safety – significant reduction in safety incidents and accidents in venues with the cleans carried out by trained professionals.
- Environmentally friendly – reduce water wastage and CO2 usage.
The ideal master licensee will have a proven record of business success. They will be required to recruit and develop franchisees, grow their region, market the brand and ensure compliance within the constructs of the Portermark franchise system. A sound knowledge and network within the hospitality sector or aligned industries will be beneficial for the successful development of the franchised territory.
Formal training will be supplied in all areas of the business. Including, but not limited to, marketing, human resource management, franchisee recruitment processes and training, along with general franchise operations. The master licensee will also undertake the full franchisee training course to ensure full knowledge of procedures, operations and reporting prior to training and developing their own team of franchisees.
The investment requirement is between AU$275,000 and AU$325,000. However you will also need solid working capital to market, develop and expand the operation in your given region.
