How we work

Crest PropertyCare partners with CrestClean teams to provide quality outdoor maintenance services through our franchisee network. We combine the advantages of an owner-operator culture with strong corporate systems and comprehensive support.

Crest PropertyCare franchisees manage the operational side of their business, making their own decisions on how they service their contracts. Meanwhile, CrestClean manages customer invoicing, payment collection, and pays franchisees twice per month for fulfilled contracts. This structure allows you to enjoy regular contract revenue without the typical hassles and challenges of running your own business. CrestClean also prepares and files GST returns, prepares annual accounts and files your tax return to keep your business compliant.

Our PropertyCare teams also take on one-off jobs and build their customer base through personal marketing efforts and word of mouth. Each PropertyCare team is responsible for maintaining several commercial properties in their local area, providing services that typically include:

• Exterior cleaning

• Lawns, grounds and gardening

• Spraying moss, mould and lichen

• Pure Water Window Cleaning

• Carpark cleaning and sweeping

• Water blasting outdoor areas

• Building washing

• General maintenance and repair jobs

Skills you’ll need

While many of our PropertyCare franchisees come from a trade or building background, this is not essential. However, having general handyman skills and familiarity with tools is important. Being able to fix or repair routine items is an advantage, along with the following skills:

• Being proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve your customers’ premises

• Capable of working independently

• Planning and managing your workload in an effective manner

We ensure our team members are well-prepared for the contracts they service. Our training programs cover essential areas, including:

• Health and Safety

• Practical on-the-job skills

• Equipment maintenance
