Spray & Wash franchisee finds quality service pays off
Seb Bouchet has found one great advantage with his new business: ‘Once I’ve been to a client, they become repeat customers,’ he says with satisfaction. ‘That’s because Spray and Wash have such high standards. I only started in October 2019 and everything went swimmingly. After the lockdown I’m confident the demand for clean workplaces and our growing reputation mean the business will pick up rapidly again.’
Spray & Wash Solutions offers a professional exterior building wash service for both residential and commercial customers. Henry Norcross established the company in 2014 to provide both residential and commercial exterior washing services in the Auckland region.
‘We specialise in all buildings up to ten metres tall and offer a complete range of pressure washing and water blasting services for buildings, roofs, gutters, car parks, decks and driveways. Our team strives to provide a responsive and reliable service that can meet flexible deadlines.
‘Our clients can place their complete confidence in our company with regard to meeting and exceeding health, safety, environmental standards and overall quality. Our fully-documented procedures mean franchisees can win contracts from big property companies and corporates for shopping malls, schools and offices, as well as smaller properties.’
Seb came to New Zealand from Mauritius 15 years ago and worked for several years as a landscape gardener. ‘With a wife and two teenage sons to support, I needed a business that I could grow. My wife Rachel found Spray & Wash and we realised it was a great opportunity. Every kind of building is a potential customer, and every job can turn into a regular one.’
Seb and Rachel work as a team, with Seb doing quoting and on-site work while Rachel handles the marketing and invoicing. ‘We are putting in an average week of 30-40 hours each and (apart from the Covid-19 interruption) running a profitable business which is very satisfying.’
Henry says that new Spray & Wash franchises are available from as little as $38,000 +gst. ‘This is a very flexible opportunity – you can start on the tools and gradually take on staff, or start larger with a team while you focus on building the business. There’s full training, assistance with marketing and online promotion, help with selecting the right equipment package, accounting set-up and lots more to help get you up and running.
‘You don’t need any experience, either. We offer a turn-key operation, and will show you the tried-and-tested formula we use for attracting new customers every month. We already have several franchisees operating out of our North Shore depot and are so confident in our processes that we will guarantee you minimum sales of $50,000 for the first year.
‘Spray & Wash has exclusive territories available now in cities throughout New Zealand, so contact me to find out more.’
