BurgerFuel presents Winner Winner, a modern franchise concept specialising in the finest woodfired and crispy fried chicken
BurgerFuel Group (BFG) has more opportunities than ever before for entrepreneurial New Zealanders looking to dive into business ownership. ‘Winner, Winner, chicken dinner’ is a phrase Kiwis have used for decades, but it took a team of passionate foodies working in the hospitality industry to turn it into a modern casual dining and takeaway concept. Founded in Hamilton East in 2016, the first Winner Winner store proved the success of the model and now BFG plans to appoint franchisees across New Zealand.
The founders of Winner Winner wanted an easy option for healthy, fast, fresh dinners after work that was inclusive to all food preferences and didn’t scrimp on good vibes,’ explains Hemi Parbhu, Franchising Manager for BFG. ‘When they couldn’t find it, they crafted it themselves. The generous menu of wholesome, comfort food came together naturally and was complemented by an all-day eatery where everyone was welcome.’
Winner Winner specialises in the finest woodfired and crispy fried chicken using only natural, free-range and nutritious ingredients. There are daily salads, indulgent classics, vegan and vegetarian options, and sides include such creative suggestions as kimchi fries, turmeric and ginger bone broth, vegan fried shrooms and a twist on mac’n’cheese. No meal is complete without a slice of their famous Pinky Pie, either. All this is served up in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that’s as passionate and down-to-earth as the food.
‘Winner Winner has an uncompromising passion for the community in which it lives, sourcing high-quality ingredients from local suppliers and giving back to the community with friendly service and local initiatives,’ says Hemi. ‘As a result, it has a local cult following and a reputation for always providing an authentic experience.
