NAVIGATING THE FUTURE
National Franchise Conference - August 2018
The theme of the 2018 National Franchise Conference will be Navigating the Future. The conference is being held at the Wairakei Resort, Taupo, on 9-10 August. ‘Last year’s event was a sell-out, so make sure you book early,’ says Robyn Pickerill, the CEO of the Franchise Association.
‘The National Franchise Conference attracts some of New Zealand’s most experienced franchisors, franchise managers, and advisors from all round the country. The inclusive and welcoming atmosphere of the event always surprises newcomers, but no matter how experienced you are, there’s always more to learn.
‘This year, we have guest speakers who will bring inspiration and innovative expert knowledge from the franchise sector and beyond. Employment will be a particular focus, with presentations from the Labour Inspectorate and workshops on both legal and HR implications, and there’s a varied programme of local and international speakers, stimulating workshops and round-table sessions.
