NEW ZEALAND NATURAL RE-SHAPES INTERNATIONAL DESIGN
27 March 2014 - New Zealand Natural has unveiled a brand new store look in three New Zealand shopping centres.
The new look follows 18 months of development. Featuring integrated chilled and ambient fruit displays, handmade luxury New Zealand chocolates, new low-level menu layouts and eye-catching 3D ice cream cone blade signage, the new design is a striking evolution for the international franchise which operates in 24 countries.
'We have a wonderful reputation for providing exceptional quality ice creams and drinks. but previous store designs have not always fully supported merchandising of the total New Zealand Natural (NZN) product offer,' explained David Foreman, NZN’s Australasian Regional Manager. 'Fruit-based smoothies, juices and salads are a rapidly growing part of our business and it is crucial that we promote the fresh and natural aspect of the brand which is increasingly important to customers around the world.'
'Whilst premium New Zealand-made ice cream remains pivotal to our brand, we recognize that customers revisit us for the uniqueness of what NZN stands for amongst treat providers, hence the successful introduction of Bennetts of Mangawhai handmade chocolates in New Zealand which may extend into different categories in other markets.'
Wider roll-out of the new design, which has been spearheaded by leading New Zealand retail architects Studio Gascoigne, is already underway. This month has already seen the opening of NZN’s first store in Taiwan.
