Some top American franchises will be visiting New Zealand in March 2018 looking for local master licensees. The visit will be led by Bill Edwards of Edwards Global Services, who was a popular speaker at this year’s National Franchise Conference in Hamilton.
One of the franchisors visiting will be Christopher Grandpre, the CEO of Outdoor Living Brands, which has four category-leading franchises including Mosquito Squad, an outdoor pest control business that has opened almost 250 units in the US over 11 years. The other brands are Archadeck, Outdoor Lighting Perpectives and Renew Crew - a company that provides cleaning, sealing and protection services for a wide variety of exterior surfaces.
Edwards Global Services has helped many franchise brands go global and will be looking for local partners and master licensees across a range of industries including food & beverage, home services, lifestyle and leisure. In the food space alone, the company has worked with such famous brands as Denny's, Dairy Queen, Arby's, Fuddruckers and Carl's Jr.
The visit is being organised by the US Consulate General and the US Department of Commerce and Stewart Germann Law Office. More details will be published nearer the time.
